Insurance details: You will be required to leave a deposit to the value of the insurance excess. If the car is damaged or stolen during the rental you may be charged an excess of between CHF 1000 - 1500 depending on the size of the car which will be debited from your deposit. If you have purchased one of our damage excess waiverproducts, you will be reimbursed for any excess paid from accidental damage caused whilst renting your car (subject to certain exclusions, see terms and conditions for details)
Picking up your car: Sixt require you to leave a deposit to cover the insurance excess and fuel in the form a credit card. Debit cards and cash are not accepted. If your hire car breaks down due to no fault of your own during the duration of your rental, the cost of breakdown recovery will be covered by us, your car hire broker. If the car cannot be serviced immediately, then you will be provided with a similar or upgraded replacement car.
