| Age/Licence restrictions:
| Minimum drivers age is 21 maximum age for rental is 75. Drivers under 25 will be subject to a surcharge of USD 15 per day. Minimum age of 25 for 4x4 and People carriers. Drivers must have a full national driving licence. Passports and return ticket must be shown for identification. There may be certain restrictions if the driver has endorsements on their licence. We must be notified prior to your rental. All non eu citizens must present an international driving licence. |
| Fuel Conditions:
| Your car will be supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full. If the vehicle is not returned full there will be a charge for Missing fuel and a refuelling surcharge of 40% will apply. |
| General Restrictions:
| If a client wishes to drive into El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua arrangements must be made with rental station 48 hours prior to leaving Guatemala. A fee of $25 USD will be charged for legal/cross border documents. Rental vehicles cannot be driven outside Guatemala without these legal documents. |
| Included:
| All prices are fully inclusive of airport fee, breakdown assistance, collision damage waiver, local taxes, theft waiver, third party liability insurance, unlimited mileage and fuel: full to full. |
| Insurance details:
| You will be required to leave a deposit to the value of the insurance excess. If the car is damaged during the rental you may be charged an excess of between USD 500 - 1000 which will be debited from your deposit. If you have purchased one of our damage excess waiverproducts, you will be reimbursed for any excess paid from accidental damage caused whilst renting your car (subject to certain exclusions, see terms and conditions for details).</B> |
| Picking up your car:
| Alamo require you to leave a credit card imprint of USD 500-1000. This amount will be held on your credit card. If your hire car breaks down due to no fault of your own during the duration of your rental, the cost of breakdown recovery will be covered by us, your car hire broker. If the car cannot be serviced immediately, then you will be provided with a similar or upgraded replacement car. |
