Glenfiddich 15-Year-Old Solera Reserve Highland Malt Whisky

After ageing it for 15 years in oak casks the whisky is then transferred into a ?solera? vatting system (similar to the way they make sherry) for further maturation. Not surprisingly there are sherry notes and a slight sweetness to the whisky, balanced by a drier oakiness.
