Gremlin's Actua series is one of the most fondly remembered offerings from the 1990's - a sports range that was the cream of the crop in its early PlayStation heyday. Well, now it's been revived with Actua Ice Hockey 2 for PC.
Traditionally an American sport, Ice Hockey is infamous for its rough and tumble tactics. This is accurately showcased in Actua Ice Hockey 2. A direct sequel to its PlayStation predecessor, Actua Ice Hockey 2 surpasses the efforts of most developers, bringing with it a full-on, hardcore championship. Graphics are reasonable and the gameplay is as good as it ever was.
A welcome return from Actua.
