Grand Gaillard has been a customer favourite for years, but with dynamic new winemaker Lionel Condeau at the helm quality is up another notch. His enthusiasm and commitment to quality over quantity deserves mention - like green harvesting, which removes all but the healthiest fruit weeks before harvesting ... leaving the vines to focus on fewer grapes. Quantity down, quality up! Plump, rounded, lemony Semillon made all the racier by lime-scented Sauvignon. All the elegance and finesse you'd normally find only in more expensive chateau wines from neighbouring Bordeaux. Sublime partner for goat's cheese and all kinds of seafood.
