The hotel is situated in one of the first residential buildings built in Barcelona's example district by Catalan architect Josep Cerda. Built in 1864 in an eclectic style of classical inspiration, it has been classified as a historic monument. It is the only building that still retains the splendid paintings and ornaments of the original facade, which has been totally renovated. The hotel is furnished in a modern and elegant style. It has 124 rooms equipped with all comforts and amenities: parquet flooring and wooden furniture.
