This staggeringly rich NEW Malbec comes from Argentina's Famatina Valley, a wine region since 1591 when conquistador Ramirez de Velazco brought vines with him from Peru. Located a whopping 3280 feet above sea level, the winery is not easy to get to! It's the extraordinary quality of sunlight at this altitude (and slightly cooler temperatures) that gives the wine such pure deep fruit flavours and balance. Dark ruby colour with violet hues. A velvety-smooth mouthful of intense blackberry, cherries, spice and delicious nutty hints. Incredible value for money - fill your boots!
