Lyngrove Estate is a brand new Sauvignon Blanc with all the weight and fruit of the best New Zealand examples, plus the grassy, mineral elegance of fine Sancerre. The estate can easily sell all they make to thirsty Cape locals so we were delighted when they agreed to send you a parcel ... then overjoyed when they agreed on the price! Young winemaker Danielle du Toit called this wine her baby, carefully selecting her two finest vineyards to give the ideal combination of elegance and fruit. She was desperate for our buyer Nick to love her wine, but like every proud mother, she was much less keen to see it go! 2007 was a fabulous vintage, giving crackling tropical freshness, with the elegant minerality of Sancerre. Mouthwatering aperitif or a fine accompaniment to seafood. One sip explains why we had to prise it from Danielle's fingers, but with limited volumes, you must act fast!
