All three 'good sons' of Jean-Michel play a part - vineyard expert Jerome, Olivier the winemaker and Laurent the sales manager - the easiest job, say his brothers, as the wine almost sells itself, especially at this price! Aromas of ripe plums, cassis and tobacco. Merlot gives the wine its succulent berry fruit while Cabernet adds depth and backbone (this grape marriage is behind many classic clarets). So smooth and mellow after a year in premium oak and perfect with roast beef.
