Product DescriptionAn exclusive sourced from a winery in Kelly Country, close to where the famous outlaw Ned and his gang had their final shoot-out. And this barrel-aged Victorian Shiraz comes from 2007's Drought vintage - it's big, hearty and gutsy. We found this very special parcel thanks to old friend Bob Berton. He has been acting as "our man Down Under" to help us get hold of the very best parcels as they arrive on the market. And with the current state of the market it's proved useful to have someone on the ground for insider tip-offs like this. Aromas of sweet plum fruit with a distinct peppercorn spice mixed with smoky oak and hints of dark chocolate. The rich, spicy fruit is brimful of black pepper and stewed plum flavours, nicely balanced by the sweet vanilla oak. |
