Monsieur La Cave's Domaine de Guiron nestles in the heart of rural Gascony. Thanks to the estate's gentle south-facing slopes, the vines stay nice and thirsty helping to create zippy, concentrated flavours in the grapes. Colombard is the traditional grape of the region and produces delicious, fresh green-apple flavour - whilst Ugni Blanc adds a little 'grassy' depth. Vibrant gooseberry and lemongrass aromas with a hint of grapefruit. Elegant, fresh green apple character, and intense citrusy freshness. Lovely on its own and a real crowd-pleaser at parties too. Serve chilled with vegetable quiche, creamy pasta or light hors d'oeuvres.
