The Siemens Porsche cordless jug kettle, in matt aluminium with black detailing, is not just a designer kettle - it's powerful enough to heat water to 100°C in less than two minutes. Nevertheless there are some good looking features: the lid opens gently when you press the button; switch the TW911P2 on to boil water and a smart blue LED comes on; and there's a neat storage under the kettle for any excess cord.
