Australian Shiraz is just the ticket when it's as smooth, warming and utterly delicious as the 2006 vintage of Willy Willy, which benefits from the know-how of New South Wales' Rossetto family. Much of the family's winery is still very traditional, including the open fermenting vats - ideal for this juicy style. The care and attention they require is rewarded by rich, concentrated flavours and smooth tannins. Deep purple in colour with aromas of spices and vanilla. Round and plump with lashings of peppery red fruit flavours and oaky hints. Loves roasts and pasta, as well as rump steak, especially with field mushroom sauce.
