But in Australia it excels in making simple, soft, crisp and fruity wines like Brightlands Chenin Blanc. This deliciously refreshing, light white - from Southern Australia - is perfect if you don't fancy Down Under's big, bold buttery Chardonnays, and are not in the mood for Sauvignon's full-on, tongue-tingling zing! Pale straw in colour, with aromas of lemon, kiwi fruit - herbal and honey characters too. Soft and full palate, with lighter citrus notes, melon and a good length. Generous weight.
