It has an extra large 7kg wash load capacity which helps save on time, energy and water, while the drying load is 3.5kg. It also gets to work quietly, with noise ratings for washing 58dB and drying 62dB. The ?Aquaspray? system showers soapy water on to the laundry for a first-class wash, using less water for standard programmes, thus saving energy. The drying part of the JLWD1609 includes automatic settings with sensor control, ranging from ?extra dry? to ?iron dry?. You can set the machine to dry automatically at the end of the wash cycle. Its 1600 spin speed also means that the drying time is reduced.The JLWD1609 has 24 wash programmes, which includes a 14-minute quick wash and a special delicates function. An LED display indicates programme sequence and time to run, and you can delay the start of your wash and dry by up to 19 hours, to take advantage of off-peak electricity.
