SMA Follow-on Milk is an important baby food product in SMA?s Gold System. This is a range of specially-designed formulas to help meet the nutritional needs of babies and young children. Every product has a tailored nutrient profile for each stage of growth and development. SMA Follow-on milk is for toddlers from 6 months onwards. Used as part of a mixed weaning diet it has all the important nutrients your growing baby needs. It delivers these in the form of an improved protein balance of Omega 3 and 6 LCPs and fortified with extra iron. All this is delivered in a smaller amount of milk than infant formula so your baby still has an appetite for food. IMPORTANT NOTICE: SMA Follow-on Milk is only suitable for babies over 6 months as part of a mixed diet it should not be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first 6 months of life the decision to start weaning or to use follow-on milk before 6 months should be made only on the advice of a doctor, midwife health visitor public health nurse dietician or pharmacist based on your baby?s specific growth and development needs.
